Aldi are on facebook and can be accessed by clicking right here and as of writing this post the page already has nearly 11,000 Likes and the page is filled with users comments, requests., suggestions and all sorts

Even Aldi are taking part in the social discussions too by replying to some posts on the wall which I find is nice and may come in handy one day!

So again, here is the link to the page

Review: Bramwells Light Mayonnaise

Pros: Light creamy texture is delicious
Cons: None

Another fantastic product from Bramwells and my personal favourite Bramwells product is Bramwells Light Mayonnaise, I have it with my lunch like when I have a baguette filled with ham and some salad, those baguettes sure would not be the same or taste as good if I missed out the mayonnaise which funnily enough happened the other day actually, I forgot to add mayonnaise to my baguette and did not want to eat it without the mayonnaise so I went back to the fridge to get it

Obviously it has many many more uses too, many people like salad cream as a dressing on salad, at least my girlfriend certainly does but I personally much prefer mayonnaise over my salad and over a lot of other things that go great with mayonnaise too

Review: Bramwells Tomato Ketchup

Pros: Just how ketchup should be!
Cons: None

Bramwells make some lovely products, Tomato Ketchup is one of most popular products they make and I am not surprised, I literally do not see any point in buying brands such as Heinz and other leading brands when there are brands like this that are much cheaper and also taste equally as good or maybe even better, honestly I can not remember now as it has been a very long time since I have had a leading brand of ketchup and that I hope is saying something.

Great with chips which is the obvious one and great with anything else, I had ketchup with frankfurters the other day, which were also bought from Aldi, very nice

Review: Alio Kitchen Foil

Pros: 30 metres, strong
Cons: None

I was shopping at Aldi the other week, searching for an alternative brand to Wilkinson's own brand of kitchen foil which honestly was not a bad product, but for the price and quality you got you felt like you should have been getting something better, so as I always shop in Aldi and like to try new products when I can I thought I would try Alio Kitchen Foil which is Aldi's own brand all purpose strength kitchen foil

When tearing the kitchen foil it is not just an easy tear, in a good way as some cheaper brands can just tear off the roll easily and tear easily when trying to use it too! So this foil is strong for sure and does the job I need it to do when I am covering those chicken breasts or drumsticks into the oven, I have not used the foil for much else, but I think you should be able to get the idea that this product is a great all round good product which is also reasonably priced and lasts ages!

Review: Sweet Harvest Small New Potatoes

Pros: Cheap at 22p
Cons: Too soft and did not like texture

Well there can not always be 'Love Aldi' reviews, however this is not a review full of hatred, but if you are looking for something more simple than washing and simmering some fresh new potatoes then these could be ideal to accompany a quick fix up meal, I brought a pan of water to the simmer on a medium heat, chucked these in for about 5 minutes and they were done, but for me they were too soft, and the texture was not right, it did not taste how a potato should taste to me, but then most cans of tinned potatoes I imagine are the same, and if memory serves me right this can of potatoes are just as good as other leading brands of canned potatoes but at an extremely low price at just 22p!

Review: Quixo 12 Beef Stock Cubes

Pros: Flavourful
Cons: Very high salt content

In each pack of Quixo Beef Stock cubes you get 12 soft flat squares of stock cubes that are easily dissolved in boiling water and make for a great stock to add whether you are adding stock to that home made spaghetti bolognese or casserole you are sure to find a use for these stock cubes if you like to cook

However if you are concerned about the salt levels you consume in each meal it may be a good idea to consider other alternatives as each stock cube contains 4.3 grams of salt which is about 72% of the guideline daily amount

However I find these stock cubes to be cheap, and add a wonderful flavour to all my cooking, maybe one day I will change my mind if I am one day more concerned about the salt levels I consume, but for now I will happily keep purchasing these stock cubes

Review: Stonemill Dried Parsley

Pros: Flavourful
Cons: Dispenser

This 9 gram pot of Stonemill Dried Parsley is fairly good value considering it is very flavourful, but it let down by the sprinkling dispenser, shaking the pot seems to be of no use, you could be there all day, but luckily there isa larger dispenser which is what I use and I shake a fair amount of dried parsley into the palm of my hand and put a pinch of parsley over each roast potato as they come to the end of the cooking time, it adds that extra flavour to those delicious roast potatoes you cook
